Genesis 19:14-16

¹⁴ And Lot went out and spoke to his sons-in-law, who ^[a]were to marry his daughters, and said, “Get up, ^(A)get out of this place, for Yahweh will destroy the city.” ^(B)But he appeared to his sons-in-law ^[b]to be jesting.

¹⁵ Now at the ^[c]breaking of dawn, the angels urged Lot, saying, “Get up, take your wife and your two daughters who are here, lest you be swept away in the ^[d]punishment of the city.” ¹⁶ But he hesitated. So the men ^(C)seized his hand and the hand of his wife and the ^[e]hands of his two daughters, for ^(D)the compassion of Yahweh was upon him; and they brought him out and put him outside the city.
